Making Real Guns out of Staple Guns

+2 votes
I have been thinking for a while about the potential of turning staple guns into real firearms. Living in a 3rd world country, I have heard of people buying bulk amounts of staple guns for this purpose. Then I saw this:http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011/04/04/turning-a-staple-gun-into-a-real-gun/

My question is if you could adapt it to use 3d printed barrels or extras? Is it really safe or not?

You could, but I don't see the point.

It makes far more sense to use printed recievers and FCg's, and metal barrels and bolts for 3d printed guns.

3d printed barrels aren't a particularly good idea, litearally any kind of metal tubing is better.
